WorkQShop: Formally Safer Spaces
Safer Spaces began as a community-based education program at The Bridge Brant and has since been incorporated into its own nonprofit organization, WorQshop: Building Safer Spaces. WorQshop and The Bridge continue to work closely and intentionally together, sharing values, community relationships, and a commitment to advancing safety, dignity, and belonging for 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

Whether your organization is seeking training, consultation, or longer-term capacity building, WorQshop supports organizations at different stages of their inclusion journey through introductory and advanced trainings, sector-specific workshops, and tailored consultation. Consultation services help organizations assess current practices, strengthen policies, and embed 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion and trauma-informed approaches into everyday operations, with options available both in-person and virtually.
